Russ Sharek — Don’t Be A Talking Head!
A performer’s ability to tell stories is greatly impaired when they choose, wittingly or not, to only use their voice in their work. By allowing physicality to bring imagination more fully into the room, an improviser opens up a wide range of new possibilities for their creativity. Through incorporation of tools from physical theater and mime, Russ Sharek leads students of all experience levels through an introduction to make believe using the mind and the body in a more connected way.
